Gabriel is an accomplished pianist with a passion for both classical and jazz music. Starting piano at just 7 years old, he built a strong foundation through studies and prestigious jazz programs like Skidmore College, Interlochen, and Litchfield Jazz—earning merit scholarships along the way. His musical journey continued at NYU and Berklee College of Music, where he refined his skills under the mentorship of world-renowned musicians like Lenny White, Kevin Hays, and Esperanza Spalding.
With performance credits at legendary venues such as The Blue Note, Smalls, and 55 Bar, Gabriel has shared the stage with some of the finest musicians in the industry. But beyond his impressive background, he’s an engaging and supportive teacher who knows how to make learning fun, inspiring, and rewarding.
With over a decade of teaching experience, Gabriel brings a well-rounded approach that blends technical mastery with creative expression. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your playing to the next level, he will help you build confidence, develop strong technique, and express yourself musically. His experience with music camps and conservatories also makes him a great mentor for young musicians navigating the world of auditions and advanced study.
