Starting piano at just 7 years old, he built a strong foundation through studies and prestigious jazz programs like Skidmore College, Interlochen, and Litchfield Jazz—earning merit scholarships along the way. His musical journey continued at NYU and Berklee College of Music, where he refined his skills under the mentorship of world-renowned musicians like Lenny White, Kevin Hays, and Esperanza Spalding.
With performance credits at legendary venues such as The Blue Note, Smalls, and 55 Bar, Gabriel has shared the stage with some of the finest musicians in the industry. But beyond his impressive background, he’s an engaging and supportive teacher who knows how to make learning fun, inspiring, and rewarding.
