Mick
Mick is a NY based actor, musician, singer and teacher. Mick is excited to work with piano, voice, guitar, banjo, and theatre students covering a broad range of styles from classical to contemporary music. Mick enjoys working with students of all ages, keeping lessons fun, inspiring, and tailored towards each students’ interests and strengths. Mick is a recent graduate from NYU with a Master’s in Music in Performance as well as an advanced certificate in Vocal Pedagogy. Having taught voice lessons for the many years, several of his students are now performing professionally or attending top programs throughout the country. Mick also has two bachelor’s degrees, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from Western Michigan University. He has performed for regional theaters, parks and resorts throughout North America, notable roles include Fabrizio in The Light in the Piazza, Tommy in Brigadoon, and Basilio in Le Nozze di Figaro as well as playing banjo and guitar for shows like Bright Star, Shakespeare in Love and other various variety shows. During his studies, Mick attended the AIMS Opera studio program in Graz, Austria where he performed throughout the city. While not performing, Mick likes to spend his time rock climbing, hiking, or playing dungeons and dragons with his friends.
