In 2002 he began his violin and piano studies at the School of Arts Benny More with Master Emilia Vondarenko, the subsequent year he was chosen to be part of the group Los Aragoncitos de Cienfuegos. He belonged to this group for 5 years and toured nationally and internationally performing traditional Cuban repertoire.

He has performed solo and chamber concerts in important concert halls in Bogotá and New York City such as Carnegie Hall, The Virgilio Barco Library, the Julio Mario Santo Domingo Theater, Jamaica Performing Arts Center, Leon de Greiff Auditorium, Fabio Lozano Auditorium, Faenza Theater, Bellas Artes Theater. He completed his undergraduate and graduate studies with Honors at the National University of Colombia with Master Liz Angela Garcia, he’s currently working on his first album recordings.

He has worked as Personal Violin teacher for many years. Detail-oriented and well-planned classes focused on evaluating student progression and adapting lessons plans to facilitate learning and growth, while focusing on getting a warm and comfortable environment for each student. He has worked with children aged 4-18 and adults as well. His philosophy is based on getting the student’s identity cultivated and enriched. He’s been working on research about how popular and traditional music affects musicians on a classical learning environment using basics techniques such as improvisation and playing by ear. His main goal as a teacher is to keep every single student motivated and focused on improvement and hard inspiring work.
